Description: 2024 marks the centenary of the birth of Jin Yong (Dr Louis Cha), a literary giant in Chinese literature. ‘A Path to Glory — Jin Yong’s Centennial Memorial’ is a memorial event that encompasses culture, art, creativity, heritage and education, paying tribute to the master of martial arts fiction. The event consists of ‘The World of Wuxia’ exhibition at Edinburgh Place, Central, and the ‘Sculpted by Ren Zhe’ exhibition at Hong Kong Heritage Museum.

‘The World of Wuxia’ will exhibit 10 sculptures of Jin Yong’s iconic characters, created by the sculptor Ren Zhe. The exhibition presents a Mongolian yurt inspired by The Eagle-shooting Heroes and offers an immersive experience with multilingual audio guides and augmented reality technology. Highlights also include recreated scenes and iconic costume designs from the novels.
