38 Hong Kong Specialists from 15 countries visited Hong Kong to experience the city first-hand.
In recognition of overseas trade partners’ tremendous effort in promoting Hong Kong, HKTB organised an incentive trip to invite a total of 38 selected HKS Club members to Hong Kong and experience what the city is offering. They come from all over the world including Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, UK and US.
Followed the welcome dinner hosted by HKTB in the first evening of the trip, a product briefing session was arranged in the second day for the Hong Kong trade partners to introduce their latest product highlights to the Hong Kong Specialists.
Nothing is better than first-hand experience! The four-day trip included visits to key attractions and a mega event. Some highlights as follows:
360 Lantau Sunset Tour
As one of the offering from the Explore Hong Kong Tour Products, it took the group to explore the beautiful nature and visit the infamous signature spots in Hong Kong. During this half-day trip, HK Specialists were enjoying the magnificent view on crystal cable cars at Ngong Ping 360, visiting the traditional and tranquil Tai O fishing village, and watching the beautiful sunset after a boat ride.
Old Town Central
Before the walk HK Specialists enjoyed a dim sum lunch at Lin Heung Kui, tasting traditional Cantonese delicacies. After that, the group was guided around the OTC area to explore the city’s culture and historic buildings, including the Man Mo Temple and the large scale modern street arts. Along the way, the HK Specialist enjoyed the unique opportunity to experience them like a local!
Wine & Dine Festival
In its 9th year, the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival showed them a gastronomic world tour of the 400 international wine and food booths in the beautiful setting of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline. Most of the participants expressed it was their first time attending this event!
