Meeting with Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce

It is essential to update industry partners regularly with HKTB’s resource planning and marketing direction in order to foster mutual understanding. Mr Anthony Lau, Executive Director of the HKTB, attended a roundtable luncheon held by the Retail and Tourism Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and explained the HKTB’s investment strategies and latest work to attendees.

Crowning the Hong Kong Courtesy Ambassador

Being the long-standing supporting organisation of the Most Courteous Immigration Control Officers Election organised by the Immigration Department, the HKTB once again crowned the most-voted control officer as the Hong Kong Courtesy Ambassador and presented awards to him in appreciation of his excellent services.

Reach out to tertiary students leveraging the Hong Kong Tourism Overview

For the sixth year in a row, tertiary students studying programmes related to tourism and hospitality were invited to join the Hong Kong Tourism Overview. This year, over 200 students from 11 institutes and universities attended the event, a record high in terms of participating academies. Themed “Best of All, It’s in Hong Kong”, the event provided students with HKTB’s marketing plan in the following year. Economic and tourism experts were invited to share latest travelling trends and their views on consumer behaviour at the industry forum.
