Invitation for Application — 2nd Round of the “Matching Fund for Overseas Tourism Promotion by Tourist Attractions (MFTA)” Scheme

Following the success of the promotions launched under the “Matching Fund for Overseas Tourism Promotion by Tourist Attractions (MFTA)” Scheme between November 2015 and March 2016, the 2nd round of the Scheme is now open for application.

The 2nd round of the MFTA scheme aims at facilitating tourist attractions’ overseas promotional work from mid-June until December 2016 to raise the awareness of visitors towards Hong Kong attractions. With respect to approved application, the Hong Kong Tourism Board will provide marketing and promotion funding support to the attractions to develop marketing promotional activities in overseas source markets.

Applicants may develop promotion plans and activities that encompass other tourism and tourism-related industry partners, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, travel agencies, tour operators, retail and catering partners.
