13 April 2017
Register Now — Hong Kong & Taiwan Travel Mission to Canada and USA (1-7 June 2017)
|
|
The USA has been Hong Kong’s top long-haul source market. Overnight visitor arrivals exceeded 125,000 in the first two months of 2017, recording a year-on-year increase of 5.8%. During the same period, Canada also saw an increase of 5.9% with overnight visitor arrivals reaching 40,000.
To capitalise on the increase of non-stop flights between Vancouver and Taipei, HKTB will join hands with Taiwan Tourism Bureau to organise a travel mission to Vancouver in Canada, Los Angeles and San Francisco in the USA. The event aims to promote multi-destination travel and offer an effective platform for Hong Kong trade partners to share their products with North American travel trade.
Business sessions will be held in each city with key leisure travel industry representatives in the markets. Cocktail receptions will also be arranged to facilitate networking. Trade partners from both Hong Kong and Taiwan will be invited to participate.
As special support to our trade partners, delegates will enjoy a FULL reimbursement of the participation fee upon successful completion of the event. Due to limited capacity, confirmation of participation will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
