“Green Tourism Pilot Scheme” Approved Products
In view of the global trend and growing interest in green tourism, HKTB has launched the brand new “Green Tourism Pilot Scheme” to support local trade tapping into this huge potential market. The scheme provides funding support for local travel agents to develop new green tour products, encouraging visitors to explore the enchanting landscapes of Hong Kong.
After screening by the evaluation panel, five in-depth green tour products in different themes were selected. The tours target outdoor or hiking enthusiasts and interest groups, while also provide hassle-free options for families and mature groups with professional tour guides and transportation arranged. It is anticipated that the new products will help drive the sustainable growth of green tourism in Hong Kong.
