Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Product Familiarisation (28 December 2015)

To mark the beginning of Hong Kong Disneyland’s 10^th anniversary celebration, the resort has launched a year-long “Happily Ever After” themed series of events with an amazing array of new entertainment options. The HKTB team joined the product familiarisation on 28 December 2015 to experience the awe-inspiring wonders.

The one-day event featured the various new attractions on offer at the theme park. Participants were given the opportunity to walk through a beautiful, living storybook realm based on Disney fairy tales at the “Fairy Tale Forest”; to join the popular “Frozen” characters in lighting up the Christmas tree; as well as to enjoy the spectacular live stage performance “Mickey and the Wondrous Book”, which is one of the highlights of the celebration. The finale was the “Disney in the Stars” Fireworks show.

Apart from the above, the participants visited the construction site of “Iron Man Experience”, a first-of-its-kind attraction at Disney to be debuted in late 2016. This much-anticipated Marvel ride and a new hotel “Disney Explorers Lodge” which will be opened in early 2017 are expected to attract more visitors both to the park and Hong Kong.
