Details: | To boost leisure travel arrivals to Hong Kong and Taiwan, HKTB and Taiwan Tourism Bureau (TTB) jointly organised multi-destination travel promotion in Vancouver, Los Angeles and San Francisco on 1, 6 and 7 June respectively. A total of 15 trade partners from hotels, attractions and tour operators took part in the event and met with about 200 North American travel trade.
Hong Kong and Taiwan were promoted as perfect places for multi-destination travel in Asia. Due to Hong Kong’s geographical proximity to Taiwan, long-haul visitors can experience two different cultures in one trip. Featuring Hong Kong’s cosmopolitan lifestyle and Taiwan’s natural sceneries, various multi-destination itineraries were introduced onsite.
Besides, HKTB took the opportunity to promote its latest “Old Town Central” programme, highlighting an amazing array of tourist hotspots in Central and Sheung Wan area. |
