DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGY TO DRIVE BUSINESS GROWTH
Stepping Up Your Online Outreach to China’s Huge Market

Mainland China’s consumer market increasingly relies on digital tools and platforms, making e-marketing an influential instrument in promoting business. Given this promising background, Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) organised a seminar on the latest industry trend and key digital marketing strategies in June.

Getting Industry Insights into Digital Marketing

The event kicked off with a presentation from HKTB on leveraging the Online to Offline (O2O) digital platform to enhance visitor experience, introducing HKTB’s e-Coupon platform to help merchants widen the audience reach in Mainland China.

Guest speaker from Dianping then presented the latest social media trend in Mainland China. He also showcased how the Dianping platform facilitated interaction between merchants and customers to create engaging shopper experience.

Finally, a representative of ICBC discussed cross-border opportunities and ICBC’s e-commerce channel, encouraging participating merchants to capitalise on the cross-border privileges to create new business opportunities.

Discovering the Power of e-Platforms

Various demonstration sessions were also arranged for participants to experience first-hand the powerful features of different e-platforms in boosting sales and building shared networks.

The seminar successfully enriched the participants’ knowledge of digital marketing and online advertising, opening insights for them to plan and pursue exciting new business leads.
