Chinese New Year
Year of the Snake
The biggest of all celebrations in Hong Kong is Chinese New Year which falls on the first day of the first lunar month (10th February, 2013).
 
Nowhere else is this momentous festival more accessible than in Asia’s world city, where traditions dating back thousands of years are practised alongside cosmopolitan events worthy of a global metropolis.

Harvey's Choice Legends in Hong Kong
Over 50 Harvey World Travel Consultants headed up to Hong Kong in November for the annual "Harvey's Choice Legends" trip. The group took part in an Amazing Race around Hong Kong which resulted in some hilarious Tai Chi poses (see below!) and a few funny tales to tell upon their return.

Hong Kong Transit Tours
If you have clients transiting in Hong Kong there are a number of great transit tours available that provide a taste of this amazing city. Even better, departure tax for same-day transit and transfer passengers is waived.
 
 
 
Hong Kong Visa Information
Australian and New Zealand nationals whose passports have at least six months validity can enter Hong Kong for a period of up to three months without a visa making it easy to experience Asia’s World City. Those who wish to stay longer must apply for a visa from a Chinese Consulate at least six to eight weeks prior to departure.
