Description: |
Hong Kong Repertory Theatre Artistic Director Poon Wai Sum rewrote five plays from his Insect Series written between the 1990s and early 2000s. For this production, he deconstructs and assembles the texts anew, remoulding these tiny yet vibrant insects into metaphors that reflect the journey Hong Kong has endured. Lumination of the Forgotten guides the audience to amble among words and images — both real and illusory — that capture the shadows of ordinary Hong Kong people. |
