2016 Hong Kong Rugby Sevens VIP Fam Trip

The 2016 Hong Kong Rugby Sevens marked the 41st year of sevens in Hong Kong, with over 120,000 visitors attending the event from 8th-10th April. 
HKTB, in partnership with Emirates Airlines, bought a group of VIP Tour Operators over from the UK to the Stadium in Hong Kong, to watch the tournament and experience the world famous event. 
The group was hosted by Dawn Page, Director - UK & Northern Europe (HKTB) and Laurie Berryman, Vice President - UK (Emirates) and participants included Directors from Wexas, Specialist Holidays Group (TUI), Tropical Sky, ITC Luxury Travel, Premier Holidays, Trailfinders and Travel Counsellors. 
The group we’re able to watch the Rugby finals and take part in all the celebrations surrounding the event, including a trip on the first Hong Kong Ruby 7s Bar Tram!

PATA Quiz Nights

HKTB took part in the recent PATA Quiz Nights in March which took place in Bristol and Cardiff. The quiz nights we’re a great opportunity for HKTB to meet with travel agents in the area, and promote Hong Kong, HK Specialist, PartnerNet, and other new products in a fun and informal setting.

 Wan Chai Self Guided Walks

HKTB have developed two self-guided walks designed for visitors to see and experience the area of Wan Chai, one of the first developed areas in Hong Kong. The two walks, “Wan Chai Walk” and “Comic Culture Walk” take visitors through many unique landmarks, historic buildings & heritage sites and encourage overseas visitors to explore cultural, heritage and metropolitan treasures and modern architecture.  The two walks complement the opening of the new attraction Ani-Com Park @Harbour “FUN” at the Promenade and Golden Bauhinia Square.
