Details: | HKTB have developed two self-guided walks designed for visitors to see and experience the area of Wan Chai, one of the first developed areas in Hong Kong. The two walks, “Wan Chai Walk” and “Comic Culture Walk” take visitors through many unique landmarks, historic buildings & heritage sites and encourage overseas visitors to explore cultural, heritage and metropolitan treasures and modern architecture. The two walks complement the opening of the new attraction Ani-Com Park @Harbour “FUN” at the Promenade and Golden Bauhinia Square.

Comic Culture Walk Comics and animations have been an important and popular element of Hong Kong's culture since the 1960s. The comic story lines, settings and personalities tend to reflect the unique lifestyle, values and spirit of Hongkongers. It is interesting to understand different walks of life at different time periods through the portrayal of the characters and illustrated works.
