HKTB and HKTDC Promote Hong Kong in London (20-21 September 2017)

Details:	HKTB and HKTDC organised a mega Hong Kong promotion campaign in London this September, aimed at promoting Hong Kong experience through music and cuisine. The celebratory Hong Kong Dinner officiated by HKSAR Chief Executive Carrie Lam and UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond took place on 20^th September. The highlight of the dinner was a flash mob orchestral performance. 30 Hong Kong students demonstrated the music offering and brought a touch of festivity to the event. It was well received by over 500 attending business leaders and senior government ministers from both Hong Kong and the UK. Another highlight of the event was the full-day symposium held on 21 September. A Hong Kong vintage tea house was set up offering Hong Kong’s local “cha chaan teng” favourites and signature dim sum in a traditional setting. Over 2,000 guests enjoyed delectable gastronomic experiences.
