Travel trade professionals were given the Hong Kong star treatment late last month when representatives from Hong Kong and Cathay Pacific rolled into Melbourne to provide product updates.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board and Cathay Pacific Airways teamed up for a Melbourne product update which was held on 22 November, held at the Red Spice QV.

The event successfully highlighted Hong Kong's unique attractions with more than 65 retail travel consultants and travel trade professionals in attendance at the dinner.

Congratulations to the prize winners - Felicity Moss from Jigsaw Travel who won two economy return airfares to Hong Kong at the Melbourne event.

HKTB’s trade marketing and business tourism manager, Lisa Lee said face-to-face contact with the Australian travel trade remains a vital element to the HKTB trade strategy.

“Both events were fantastic opportunities to catch-up with our destination ambassadors and provide them with in-depth and informative product updates on all things Hong Kong, including our exciting new transportation links, Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macau Bridge and Hong Kong’s High Speed Railway.”
