Co-produced by No Limits and Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, Light and Shadow on Strings is a joint performance showcasing a rich range of Chinese music performed by the talents of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and local erhu prodigy Yang Enhua. Yang will present three solo pieces, followed by ‘Nanyin’ from Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage. Yang and the chamber ensemble will then present a series of richly layered traditional quartet and quintet pieces, including a performance with captivating orchestral works, as well as a newly commissioned work, Luminous Sound Journey, inspired by the experiences of visually impaired individuals.
