| Details: | The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) today (15 December) announced that Hong Kong recorded provisional visitor arrivals of around 4.2 million for November, an increase of 17% compared with the same month last year. From January to November, Hong Kong received around 45 million visitors, marking a 12% year-on-year rise and surpassing the whole-year total for 2024.
Visitors in the first 11 months of the year included about 34.5 million from the Chinese Mainland, increasing by 11% from the same period last year. There were around 10 million non-Chinese Mainland visitors, a 16% year-on-year increase. Arrivals for both short-haul and long-haul markets saw growth of nearly 20%.
