Madame Tussauds Hong Kong welcomes the youngest Chinese actor - Wu Lei

Hong Kong (January 8, 2018) Madame Tussauds Hong Kong announced that Chinese actor Wu Lei (Leo) will be joining the A-list line up soon and became the youngest Chinese actor who has his own wax figure housed in the attraction.

Wu Lei filmed his first advertisement at a very young age of 3. He began his acting career at the age of 5 and starred in over 50 dramas. Being hailed as a “positive Image Idol”, Wu Lei received numerous awards include the Best Young Actor at the 28^th Flying Apsaras Awards, the Most Promising Actor at the 7^th China TV Drama Awards and Rising Artist of the Year at Tencent Video Star Awards etc. Wu Lei also has a very devoted fan base. On his 18^th birthday, Wu Lei became the top-ranked celebrity on Weibo Star Power Chart and listed on the hot search list. Starred in the upcoming dramas Fight Break Sphere, Sha Hai, movies Asura and Nezha, Wu Lei will definitely keep shining in 2018 and beyond.

Debuted as a child actor, Wu Lei impressed the Madame Tussauds sculpting team as a professional and thoughtful young actor.  Throughout the exhausting process lasted six hours, Wu Lei was his normal congenial self and showed his caring side, joking and mingling with the team to make the process more relaxing and enjoyable. “Energy is contagious!” “Wu Lei is not only a dedicated actor, but also a considerate young brother” the team described. Last year, Wu Lei attended Madame Tussauds Hong Kong 17^th Anniversary event and prepared a special gift; this year, he received this one of a kind 18^th birthday present.
