Hong Kong Dolphinwatch Ltd.(HKDW) was formed in 1995 to develop the ecotourism potential of the pink dolphins (Sousa chinensis) in Hong Kong western harbour. Its objectives were threefold: raise awareness of the dolphins both in Hong Kong and worldwide; get the business community financially interested in conservation of the dolphins; and facilitate research and education programmes. All our trips follow a code of conduct designed to minimise disturbance to the dolphins. We have been taking people to see the dolphins in their natural habitat and learn about them since 1995.
