Assistant Manager, Information Technology (2-year contract)

Location: Hong Kong
  • Design, develop, implement and support various systems and applications for head office departments and overseas offices including but not limited to Budgeting and Financial management system, HR Information System (HRIS), Intranet, Point Of Sale system (POS), Business Intelligence and Digital Asset management system
  • Lead as a project manager on multiple application system projects by interacting with head office and overseas offices users and vendors on user requirement, system design, user acceptance, integration tests, training and documentation
  • Liaise with end users and system vendors to ensure smooth project implementation and timely problem resolution
  • Understand business process flow, propose system functionality and usage to streamline process and improve efficiency
  • Prepare and maintain system specification, user requirements, training materials, source codes and relevant system documentation
  • Perform routine system operation and maintenance including DR drill operation
  • Renew system licenses and support contracts
  • University degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years’ IT working experience in designing, developing, implementing & maintaining applications running in Cloud based/Web based and Client/Server environment
  • Experience in multiple areas in Budgeting and Financial management system, HRIS, Intranet, POS, Business Intelligence, Digital Asset Management systems or web portal/mobile apps/social media platform is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Transact-SQL, scripting languages, XML, Java, reporting and analytics and Microsoft Office 365
  • Effective project and vendor management skills. PMP is preferred
  • Tactful communication and strong organizational skills
  • Proactive, able to work independently and under pressure and meet tight timeline
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
