The Ancient Tea Horse Route was a major avenue for tea and horse trading in ancient China. It spanned across the southwestern regions of Yunnan, Sichuan and Guizhou, connecting the Han people with other ethnic groups while facilitating economic and cultural exchange. The stunning landscapes, tapestry of cultures, sights and sounds along the route formed the richest source of inspiration for music. Performed by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, the concert will take you on a rewarding journey to southwestern China through the vibrant soundscapes. |
