Min Chiu Society
Description: Established in 1960, the Min Chiu Society is one of the most prestigious collectors’ groups in Hong Kong and is internationally acclaimed. In celebration of its 65th anniversary this year, the Hong Kong Museum of Art collaborated with the Society again to present this exhibition. Featuring over 400 sets of precious Chinese artefacts from their collections, it is the largest-scale edition to date. The exhibits, including Chinese painting and calligraphy, ceramics, bronzes, lacquerware, jades, bamboo carvings, furniture and snuff bottles, span from the Neolithic period through the 20th century, demonstrating the refined connoisseurship and supreme artistic achievement inherited from the past.
