The 2026 Hong Kong Dragon & Lion Festival will take place in Tsim Sha Tsui on 1–2 January 2026. Under the theme ‘International Gathering of Dragon and Lion Elites’, it aims to strengthen cultural connections through the dragon and lion dance performances, showcasing the charm of Chinese culture to the world.
In addition to the grand celebrations in Hong Kong, international lion and dragon dance groups across the globe are actively participating in The 8th World Dragon & Lion Day, celebrating New Year’s Day with Chinese festive traditions worldwide.
