Experience the vibrancy of Hong Kong Chinese New Year Celebrations! (To Tourism Services Providers)

To welcome the Year of the Horse, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is pleased to share with you an array of Chinese New Year Celebrations’ highlight events for visitors.

Cathay Pacific International Chinese New Year Night Parade (ICNYP) (31 January)
Organised by HKTB, the 2014 ICNYP will mark a splendid start to the Year of the Horse. The annual spectacle will rave up the excitement in Tsim Sha Tsui with a procession of brilliant floats and spirited performers. Please encourage your guests to join and view the parade free of charge along the parade route. For details, please click here or refer to the official web-site of the event.

Hong Kong Well-wishing Festival (31 January - 14 February)
Another great way for visitors to experience the Hong Kong traditions during Chinese New Year is to participate in the Hong Kong Well-wishing Festival at Lam Tsuen, Tai Po. For more details, please refer to the event website

Lunar New Year Fireworks Display (1 February)
Hundreds of thousands of spectators will line both sides of iconic Victoria Harbour on the second day of the Chinese New Year as they celebrate the Year of the Horse with a spectacular night of fireworks. Please click here for the event details.
