In our continued efforts to invest in short haul markets, we have planned two travel trade activities in September 2012. You are cordially invited to join us to meet with key travel trade at the following events to develop business opportunities:
(1) JATA Travel Showcase, 20 – 23 September 2012 (Tokyo) Business session with pre-scheduled appointments: Sellers visit buyers’ tables: 20 Sep 2012 (Thu) Buyers visit sellers’ booths: 21 Sep 2012 (Fri) Consumer days: 22 – 23 Sep 2012 (Sat – Sun)
To sustain its presence in this largest trade and consumer show in Japan market which shows 6.8% growth in the first five months in 2012, the HKTB will set up a 54sqm pavilion and you are cordially invited as a sub-exhibitor to explore new opportunities with potential trade partners in Japan.
As limited space is available to accommodate a maximum of 10 sub-exhibiting partners, participation of trade partners (one participant per company) will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Communal meeting space and pre-arranged appointments schedule will be provided for each sub-exhibitor.
(2) Hong Kong Travel Mission to Southeast Asia, 18, 20 & 25 September 2012 (Indonesia, Thailand & Philippines) In 2011, visitor arrivals from Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines to Hong Kong shared an encouraging growth of 14.9%, 6.8% and 9.4% respectively compared with 2010. Riding on the growth momentum, the HKTB is organising the Travel Mission to Southeast Asia covering Jakarta, Bangkok and Manila on 18, 20 and 25 September respectively. The mission in each city comprises an open-format travel mart with a luncheon. Handpicked MICE buyers will be invited for the luncheons in Jakarta and Bangkok as well. Please refer to the following for registration and enquiries:
We look forward to your participation and kind support.
Yours sincerely,
Patrick Kwok General Manager Business Development
