Temporary Suspension of the Peak Tram Service for an Upgrade Project from 23 April 2019 (Tuesday) for Approximately 2-3 Months

The Peak Tram service will be temporarily suspended from Tuesday, 23 April 2019 for two to three months for an upgrade project. Kindly inform your business partners and visitors about this special arrangement when appropriate.

During the temporary service suspension period, visitors can take the following alternative public transport services to the Peak:

  1. A Special Route No. X15 between Admiralty (West) Bus Terminus (near MTR Admiralty Station Exit B) and The Peak will be operated by New World First Bus (NWFB);
  2. NWFB Route No. 15 (Central (Central Ferry Piers) / Exchange Square - The Peak);
  3. NWFB Route No. 15B (Wan Chai (Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Extension) - The Peak) - service on Sundays and Public Holidays only;
  4. Hong Kong Island Green Minibus Route No. 1 (Central (Hong Kong Station Public Transport Interchange) - The Peak); or
  5. Taxi.

Note:

  • The Peak Tower and Sky Terrace 428 will remain open during the temporary suspension period.
  • Bus and Green Minibus services will be strengthened to meet passenger demand when necessary.
  • Services provided by NWFB Route No. 15C (Central Ferry Piers (Pier 8) - Garden Road (Lower Peak Tram Station) will be suspended during the period.
