Briefing for Enhanced Small-sized Meeting, Incentive & Convention Groups Funding Support 2023/24

With the aim of assisting Hong Kong inbound tour operators in attracting meeting, incentive and convention (MIC) businesses, Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) will resume the Funding Support for Small-sized MIC Groups scheme in 2023/24, with the following enhancements:
- Lowering the minimum period of stay of MIC groups from two nights to one night
- Relaxing the size criteria of eligible MIC groups from 20 to 10 non-Hong Kong participants
- Increasing funding per tier
Scheme Highlights
| Eligibility: |
Hong Kong licensed travel agents handling inbound travel business (with a business permit issued by Travel Industry Authority) |

| Funding Support: |
- From HK$3,750 to HK$40,000 per MIC group with 10–400 non-Hong Kong participants staying in Hong Kong for a minimum of one night
- From HK$7,500 to HK$80,000 per MIC group with 10–400 non-Hong Kong participants staying in Hong Kong for a minimum of two nights

Briefing Session
Hong Kong licensed travel agents are cordially invited to attend the following briefing session to learn more about the scheme and its application procedure on 21 March 2023.
At the briefing, HKTB will also introduce 'HK Goodies', the hospitality support offers and privileges exclusively for MIC visitors that are available for local inbound tour operator/DMC to apply for their handling groups.
