|
To promote Hong Kong as the Asia's premier MICE destination in 2013/14, Meetings & Exhibitions Hong Kong (MEHK) of the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) will participate in four MICE trade shows in the coming year. We cordially invite you to join us in the Hong Kong pavilion at these shows to showcase your latest products and services, also to develop new business opportunities with potential clients and trade partners across the world.
1. Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings Asia (IT&CMA), Bangkok, Thailand, 1-3 October 2013 Organised by TTG Events and attended by more than 2,000 delegates from over 60 countries every year, IT&CMA provides opportunities for business building, education and networking in one single event. In 2012, the show recorded 497 quality MICE buyers and corporate travel managers, which 50% was new to the show. With the support from Hong Kong trade partners, MEHK will participate in this show to further develop the markets in South East Asia. Leveraging this show, a networking trade event will be organised for HK co-exhibitors to meet with MICE agents in Thailand.
2. IMEX America, Las Vegas, USA, 15-17 October 2013 MEHK will continue to participate in the IMEX America in 2013 since its introduction in 2011. It is the largest trade show in the US for the global meetings, incentive travel and events industry. IMEX 2012 was an effective business platform for HK co-exhibitors to meet with over 2,400 qualified hosted buyers from over 45 countries (74% from US) and other 1700 trade visitors. It recorded a total of 8,312 participants. It is an effective platform to develop new and existing business relationships, and find out the latest in the US market. MEHK will be organising an on-stand networking cocktail at Hong Kong Pavilion.

European Incentive & Business Travel & Meetings Exhibition (EIBTM), Barcelona, Spain, 19-21 November 2013 A 3-day trade show held in Barcelona, EIBTM is one of the world's leading global event for the meetings, incentives, associations events and business travel industry, targeting major corporate / incentive agents, meetings and conventions planners, industry associations, and corporate end users from European markets. Riding on last year’s success, MEHK will continue our cooperation in 2013 with Reed Travel Exhibitions for the Association Hosted Buyers programme, inviting 250 hosted buyers, who are international meetings and conventions planners, to VIP networking receptions on-stand to meet with Hong Kong trade partners for discussions.
4. Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME), Melbourne, Australia, 18-19 February 2014 AIME is the largest MICE trade show in the Southern Hemisphere. In Feb 2013, the show brought together over 3,500 trade visitors (included 489 international hosted buyers) to Melbourne for exhibitors to conduct business and introduce their latest products and services. AIME 2014 continues to serve as a business platform to meet with decision makers from incentive houses, associations, event management companies and professional conference organisers (PCOs). MEHK will be organising an on-stand networking cocktail at Hong Kong Pavilion.
