Outstanding QTS Merchants and 10-year Accredited Merchants Recognised with Special Decals
To recognise the ongoing contributions of QTS merchants in sustaining Hong Kong as a shopping paradise and the culinary capital of Asia, HKTB has launched the first-ever award programme for QTS merchants.
The 2011 Outstanding QTS Merchant Awards
Winners were chosen from accredited merchants in 15 business categories covering cuisine and retail services, based on maintaining top service quality standards over the past five years. Gold, silver, bronze and merit winners all received special decals to proudly promote their businesses as outstanding brands.

Enjoying Hong Kong's Finest Cuisine & Wine with American Express
Many QTS-accredited restaurants participated in the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Month 2011, thus enhancing the city's status as the culinary capital of Asia. Under the American Express Privileged Dining Programme jointly promoted by HKTB and American Express, AmEx card holders enjoyed privileged discounts, menus and special offers at over 40 QTS-accredited restaurants in October and November 2011. The increased customer turn-out due to the promotion not only benefited the QTS merchants but also the Wine and Dine Month event.

QTS Merchants See Great Returns with WinterFest and UnionPay Winter Joys
Peak season in winter offered QTS merchants more than just the usual increase in foot traffic. Together with China UnionPay, HKTB offered participating merchants the chance for extra business opportunities through the UnionPay Winter Joys shopping promotion in Tsim Sha Tsui. UnionPay card members received shopping and dining privileges from more than 70 QTS merchants. The programme received extensive promotion at high traffic locations such as MTR Hong Kong and Tsim Sha Tsui stations, advertisements on buses and in-mall promotional displays.Besides, QTS visitor accommodations also offered 3-day-2-night WinterFest packages with fabulous festive privileges for holiday travellers.

QTS to Hold its First Local Roadshow at Times Square
To increase awareness of the QTS Scheme among local consumers and visitors, HKTB and the Quality Tourism Services Association (QTSA) will launch a four-day promotional roadshow at Times Square in Causeway Bay during 16 - 19 February 2012.
QTS merchants from different sectors will display their high-quality products and deliver fabulous on-stage programmes to showcase their culture of quality service. Please come and support our roadshow.
