Nu Skin Break Throughs in Hong Kong |
Occupying the entire AsiaWorld-Expo, the Nu Skin Greater China Regional Convention set to inspire, strengthen loyalty and motivate over 20,000 delegates in MEHK’s largest corporate meeting and incentive event to date in June 2012. The remarkable Nu Skin event was a tribute to the hard work each delegate dedicated to the brand from last year. Also, a 28 meter-long DNA chain model built especially to celebrate Nu Skin’s 20th anniversary was certified as the world’s longest DNA chain model. This record-breaking model symbolizes Nu Skin’s achievements in anti-aging technologies and the new breakthroughs it is bringing to the market. |

A Merry Time at Asian Attractions Expo |
Hong Kong, as a world-class city with top notch attractions hosted the Asian Attractions Expo (AAE), the largest conference and trade exhibition welcoming a record breaking 5,150 participants to view and display the industry's newest products and services. Strong support was received from the Hong Kong chapter of IAAPA, which was founded by 9 major attractions in town. The expo is also an excellent platform to showcase the strengths of Hong Kong's world-renowned theme parks with a wide range of networking events held at the best of Hong Kong attractions, including the landmark sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck, Ocean Park Hong Kong, Hong Kong Disneyland and Ngong Ping 360. |

Socially Responsible at JCI Asia Pacific Conference |
Returning to Hong Kong after 33 years, the JCI Asia-Pacific Conference (JCI ASPAC) was held from 7 to 10 June with great success. Over 4,700 Junior Chamber International (JCI) members including a delegation of over 2,000 from Japan united together to share their experiences, find new ways to take action in their local communities and show JCI commitment socially responsible leadership. The conference was spread over six diverse venues located relatively close together including L’hotel Nina et Convention Centre, AsiaWorld-Expo, Regal Airport Hotel, Panda Hotel, Tsuen Wan Town Hall and Skycity Nine Eagles Golf Course. JCI is a membership-based non-profit organisation of 200,000 young people in more than 100 countries around the world. |

Spirited Away at Vinexpo Asia Pacific |
Vinexpo is the world’s largest wine and spirits trade exhibition, staged annually in alternative years between Bordeaux and Hong Kong. Vinexpo Asia-Pacific 2012, held in Hong Kong from 29 to 31 May for the fifth edition attracted 15,785 visitors from 24 countries, with a 25% growth compared to 2010. About 1,050 exhibitors from 28 countries showcased their wine and spirits while the Vinexpo Asia-Pacific Academy featured 66 tastings, seminars and presentations by experts and industry specialists with about 8,000 participants. Hong Kong is at the heart of the fast-growing Asian wine and spirits markets and Vinexpo brought together great wine makers, owners and notable sommeliers. |

Unleash the Retail Power at Retail Asia Expo |
With more than 140 exhibiting companies and over 8,000 retail decision-makers from chain stores, leading brands, advertising agencies and other business areas, Retail Asia Expo 2012 opened on June 12 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Running until 14 June 2012, for the first time, this year's expo also included the multi-channel retailing conference, focusing on digital explorers, online ratings, social media-based peer reviews, videos, and in-depth product details. It also hosted the inaugural Hong Kong Retail Industry Trade Awards to recognize the importance that the retail trade in Hong Kong plays, contributing 26% of the city’s GDP and making Hong Kong one of the most popular tourist destinations in Asia. |

Educational Heritage at Asia Society Hong Kong |
The Asia Society Hong Kong Center in Admiralty combines new construction with four former military buildings that were built between 1860s and late 1940s. The center combines heritage conservation with a distinctive modern aesthetic that has created a dynamic complex allowing the center to extend its educational programs to larger community. 5th International Conference of Infection Control, 24 - 26 August |
Starting 2004, the organizer – Hong Kong Infection Control Nurses’ Association began organizing international infection control conference every two years. The idea is to promote and enhance the knowledge, skillset and expertise in training and development of infection control. From 24 to 26 August, the 5th conference will hold at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and host an expected 1,000 hospital and healthcare delegates, 700 of which will be from overseas. The theme for this year: “Timely Infection Control – Problems and Solutions”, will give the attendees an account on the latest evidence and cutting edge information in the rapidly expanding and changing infection prevention and control field. |

2012 FDI Annual World Dental Congress, 29 August – 1 September |
The FDI World Dental Federation will celebrate their 100th anniversary in Hong Kong with over 200 exhibitors showcasing the latest cutting edge developments in dental technology.
The business and policy meeting – 2012 FDI Annual World Dental Congress (2012 AWDC) of nearly 140 national dental associations from over 100 countries will decide on global policy for the profession, share ideas and identify ways to fulfil the FDI vision of ‘Leading the world to optimal oral health'. A record total of 444 abstracts from 56 countries have been accepted for presentation during the 2012 AWDC in Hong Kong where delegates will see top-level national, regional and international speakers address the most important challenges and issues in dental practice. |
