HKTB Recognised More Than 200 Long-term QTS-accredited Merchants for Continuous Support of Service Excellence

Long-term Accredited QTS Merchant Recognition Ceremony

Since its establishment in 1999, the Quality Tourism Services (QTS) Scheme has received tremendous support from its merchants. To recognise the merchants that have been part of the Scheme for 15 or 10 consecutive years, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) held the Long-term Accredited QTS Merchant Recognition Ceremony on 6 May 2016 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Merchants also received a specially designed QTS decal for their shop fronts, and a distinctive badge beside their names on the HKTB website.

The ceremony gave HKTB the opportunity to show its appreciation to these merchants. It also rewarded their contribution to Hong Kong’s image as a hospitable city.

Nominations for Outstanding QTS Merchant Service Staff Award 2017

The Outstanding QTS Merchant Service Staff Award 2017 will open to application in the second half of 2016. The award acknowledges the excellent work of frontline and supervisory service staff members in promoting quality tourism services.
