Details: | The first-ever Contract Hong Kong – North Asia was held inviting travel agents from South Korea and Japan to visit Hong Kong. A business networking event was arranged on 17 May for over 200 overseas and local participants to meet and explore business opportunities.
55 South Korean and Japanese agents enjoyed the diverse experience in Hong Kong. Itinerary included visits to Mei Ho House and Savannah Collage of Art and Design (SCAD), as well as an in-depth tour in Sham Shui Po to understand the Hong Kong’s history and living culture.
“Old Town Central” walking tour was another focus. Japanese agents were specifically taken to the street art created by Japanese celebrity Shingo Katori. They believed the art piece would become an additional highlight when promoting “Old Town Central” in Japan.
South Korean delegates also had site inspections in Stanley and Repulse Bay, which would facilitate the product development to support HKTB’s “City Chill” promotion in Korea this summer. |
