International Travel Expo (ITE) (13-16 June 2019)

HKTB joined hands with six cruise lines, including Celebrity Cruises, Cunard Line, Dream Cruises, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean International, as well as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Tourism Marketing Organization to promote cruise and Greater Bay Area travel experiences at ITE 2019.

The Hong Kong Pavilion was set up as an art gallery to showcase the city’s top attractions and latest tourism offerings. It also provided an excellent platform for local and overseas travel trade to connect and explore potential business. The cruise lines took this opportunity to introduce their diverse products through different seminars, and offered onsite exclusive deals to visitors.

The opening ceremony of ITE was officiated by Mr Joe Wong, JP, Commissioner for Tourism and Mr Anthony Lau, Executive Director of the HKTB, along with local trade heads and representatives from different national tourism organisations. The four-day expo was successfully concluded with over 100,000 visitors.
