Spend-to-Redeem “Staycation Delights” Bookings Start Tomorrow　Book Direct with the Hotel and Save HK$500 with the Promo Code “HKstay”

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has launched another round of Spend-toRedeem “Staycation Delights” programme. Eligible members of the public can make a staycation booking starting from tomorrow (7 September). The new programme has a quota of 20,000 in 146 participating hotels. Among them, 20 are new to the Staycation Delights programme, including an art hotel which provides guests with unique cultural experiences full of Hong Kong characteristics and another offering packages with activities such as visiting residential sampans, which are suitable for families, couples, besties and group of friends. 

 

Some hotels also offer limited special packages with a 1-night room stay for two with breakfast or catering discounts, rendering the package practically free after the HK$500 discount. Other offers include dining credits amounting to the room rate, which is a good bargain to go for. Offers are limited in each hotel and are available on a first-come, firstserved basis.

Spend-to-Redeem “Staycation Delights”: All you need to know

 

1) Eligibility
  • At least 18 years old with least 1 dose of a COVID-19 vaccine received in Hong Kong before check-in;
  • HKID card holder.
2) Spending receipts
  • Maximum of 2 original machine-printed receipts with a total of at least HK$800 spending in physical retail or dining outlets in Hong Kong between 16 August and 31 October 2021;
  • The receipts must clearly specify the merchant’s name, spending items, date and amount spent.
3) Participating hotels
  • There are 146 participating hotels, with 20 of them new to the Spend-to-Redeem “Staycation Delights”programme (See appendix for detail).
4) Booking tips
  • All bookings must be made directly with the hotel using the hotel’s designated method (see appendix) through either email or the hotel’s own booking system.
  • Specify “HKstay” in the email subject, or enter “HKstay” in the hotel’s booking system.
  • Other required information:

　- Name of the check-in guest (as printed on the guest’s HKID card)
　- Check-in and check-out dates
　- Name of the staycation offer
　- Copies of spending receipts

 

5) Applicable staycation offers

  • All overnight room stay offers of net value of HK$500 or above (each booking can reserve a maximum of 2 nights)
  • Bookings commence: Book direct with hotel from 9am, 7 September
  • Staycation period: 7 September – 2 November (check in on 31 October at the latest)
6) How can I know whether my booking is successful?
  • As the number of discount offers is limited, bookings are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be patient after submitting your reservation.
  • After receiving the booking information and verifying the spending receipts, the hotel will send a confirmation message within 48 hours if your booking is successful.
