Enjoy a relaxing holiday with your family and friends at a local hotel! The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) launched “Hong Kong Summer Treats” to encourage the public to rediscover Hong Kong and drive positive local ambience. The campaign is now bringing back the popular Spend-to-Redeem “Staycation Delights” programme. Starting from tomorrow (24 May), eligible members of the public can make a booking out of the 20,000 staycation offers.
The new round covers about 100 hotels (see the programme website and the appendix for details). In addition to star-rated accomodations, many of the offers come with plentiful dining offers, diversed experiences, or art and cultural workshops, allowing families, couples and besties to have an eventful holiday!
Eligible members of the public can book an offer with accommodation of one night or two consecutive nights valued at HK$500 or above with the hotel directly through a designated email address or on the hotel’s website with the promo code “HKstay” for a HK$500 discount. Offers are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

| Spend-to-Redeem “Staycation Delights”: Tips for participants |
- Check the hotel’s anti-pandemic requirements before booking
- Eligible redeemers must be a holder of valid Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card / Hong Kong Identity Card and at least 18 years old at the time of check-in.
- All guests checking-in must meet the latest Vaccine Pass requirements (see the official website for details) when entering restaurants, sports and recreational facilities, and banquet venues. Individual hotels may have other anti-epidemic measures. Guests are advised to check directly with hotels before booking.
- Choose your offer first
- About 100hotels are participating in the programme. Consider first making a list of your preferred offers before the bookings open
- All staycation offers valued at HK$500 or above are eligible for the discount, with a stay of a maximum of two consecutive nights
- Accomodation period: 24 May – 19 July. Guests must check in by 17 July
- Book directly with the hotel with the promo code “HKstay”
- Booking starts at 11 am on 24 May
- Partcipants may book directly with the participating hotel via email or hotel’s website as instructed ( see the programme website and the appendix for details).
- Participants should clearly state the promo code “HKstay” in the email subject or enter the promo code “HKstay” when placing your booking on the hotel’s website.
- Submit valid spending receipts
- Copies of the spending receipts are needed for booking. The original onesmust be submitted upon check-in.
- The receipts must be issued on or after 6 May 2022 by physical dining or retail outlets. Each redemption accepts a maximum of two receipts.
- The receipts must clearly show a) the merchant’s name, b) the spending items, c) the date and d) the amount
- Confirmation will be issued by the hotel within 48 hours
- Offers in each participating hotel are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Upon submission, please wait patiently for confirmation
- After verifying the spending receipts, the hotel will confirm the booking with participants directly within 48 hours.
