HKTB Announces Visitor Arrivals for July

Post Date: 17 Aug 2022
Details:

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) announced that, since the Government has allowed nonresidents to enter Hong Kong in May, visitor arrivals start to increase. The provisional visitor arrivals for July exceeded 48,000, a 17% increase from 41,000 visitors in June.

As the Government recently adjusted the quarantine and medical surveillance arrangements for travellers from overseas places or Taiwan, the HKTB believes that the arrangement is a good start to full travel resumption, which will benefit travellers, especially business travellers, repatriates and those visiting families and relatives, and attract them back to Hong Kong as soon as possible. The HKTB is prepared and will continue to connect closely with trade members and stakeholders of the tourism industry and related sectors to welcome back visitors when boundaries and borders reopen.
