HKTB’s New Round of Spend-to-Redeem “Staycation Delights” Increases Quota to 30,000 with Newly Opened Hotels Included; Start Collecting Spending Receipts Today

Details:	Warm up your chilly season of winter this year with a staycation with your beloved friends and family and reenergise yourselves! The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) announced the launch of a new round of Spendto-Redeem “Staycation Delights”. Members of the public can start collecting machine-printed original receipts from today (22 November) upon spending HK$800 at physical retail or dining outlets to redeem for a HK$500 discount off an accommodation offer at a participating local hotel. The new round of Spend-to-Redeem “Staycation Delights” offers not only an increased quota of 30,000 but also the largest number of participating hotels with 160 properties (see appendix for full list), including new hotels opened within the year, theme park hotels, star-rated hotels and trendy boutique hotels. Participants of the campaign can book a stay from 29 November 2022 to 28 February 2023, which spans over the festive season of Christmas and Chinese New Year. Many of the hotels also put on new decors to create a festive atmosphere, each with their unique characteristics to refresh guests’ experiences. Enjoy your festive season in Hong Kong and experience the city’s world-class hospitality with your friends or your loved ones! Starting from next Tuesday (29 November), members of the public with eligible spending receipts can reserve their stay of one night or two nights in a row worth HK500 or above according to the instructions of their preferred hotels (i.e. through designated email or hotel’s own reservation system) as stated on the campaign website with the promo code “HKstay” and enjoy a HK$500 discount.
