The winter festivals are now around the corner! Isn’t it a great idea to enjoy a cozy staycation here in Hong Kong? The new round of Spend-to-Redeem “Staycation Delights” by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) starts taking bookings from 11am tomorrow (29 November), with a quota of 30,000. Details including the participating hotels and the designated booking methods are available on the campaign website (https://www.discoverhongkong.com/hk-eng/deals/in-town-offers/staycation-delights.html) and the attached appendix.
The new round of “Staycation Delights” features 160 hotels in town. In addition to various newly opened hotels, offers also include value-for-money culinary indulgence, spa credits, as well as in-room on-demand movie package, accommodation with pets and other experiences. The campaign spans across Christmas and Chinese New Year. No matter which kind of staycation you are looking for, be it a wellness retreat or an indulging pamper, there will be a suitable offer for you.
Upon spending HK$800 at physical dining or retail outlets in town, members of the public can redeem their original spending receipts for HK$500 discount off a hotel staycation offer of one night or two consecutive nights of at least HK$500 at any of the participating hotel with the promo code “HKstay” according to the designated channel i.e. by email to a specific email address or on hotel website, starting from tomorrow. The discount will be applicable upon confirmation from the hotel. All offers at each hotels are available on a firstcome, first-served basis. Black out dates may apply to certain hotels. | Tips for Spend-to-Redeem “Staycation Delights” |
- Eligibility
- Hotel offers with accommodation of HK$500 or more (service fee inclusive), with a maximum of two consecutive nights
- Offers between 29 November – 28 February, checking in on 26 November the latest
- Please note the black out dates of individual hotels. Hotels’ announcement and decision are final.
- Book direct with hotel with promo code “HKstay”
- Opens at 11am, 29 November
- Book direct with respective hotels according to the designated method (see campaign website or appendix for details) through messaging designated email address or hotel website
- The promo code must be stated in email subject or entered into the promo code column for booking on website
- Information required:
- Names of all check-in guests (as printed on HKID)
- Contact phone number (for booking detail confirmation by hotel staff)
- Check-in and check-out dates
- Name of the hotel offer
- Copies of spending receipts
- Submit valid spending receipts
- Copies of the spending receipts are required when making booking request. The originals are to be submitted upn check-in.
- Spending receipts sould be issued on or after 22 November by eligible physical retail or dining outlets with a total amount of HK$800 or more. Each redemption can be made up of two receipts at most.
- Receipts should clearly list a) merchant’s name, b) spending items, c) date and d) amount.
- Hotels will issue confirmation upon successful booking
- All discount and offers are available on a first-come,first-served basis.
- Hotels will issue a confirmation to participants within 48 hours upon validating the eligibility of receipts if the booking is successful.
