HKTB’s major campaign “Arts in Hong Kong” was highlighted at the Hong Kong Pavilion in this year’s ITE Hong Kong. It showcased the city’s unique colourful and vibrant local living cultures through arts and cultural experiences.

The Pavilion comprised three Hong Kong zones demonstrating significant Hong Kong elements in different art forms: local delicacies via five senses, iconic neon signs in immersive experience, and community culture through modern digital art. A Greater Bay Area zone was also setup staging an interactive digital gallery displaying the latest arts & culture tourism hotspots in the 11 cities. Visitors could get souvenirs upon completion of different games at the zones.

The opening ceremony of ITE was officiated by Mr Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, HKSAR Government, Mr Dane Cheng, Executive Director, Hong Kong Tourism Board, along with representatives from the HKSAR Government and different national tourism organisations. The four-day expo was successfully concluded with a participation of 499 exhibitors from 59 countries and regions, as well as over 60,000 trade and public visitors.
