Major Marketing Activities
Trade co-op with leading tour-operator ASIA (January - February 2024)
- 1-hr training webinar fully dedicated to Hong Kong with the leading B2B French Tour-operator Asia, to train its sales team.
Total trade trained: 25 - CNY trade co-op: Promotion of their China + Hong Kong packages in their B2B and B2C newsletters (FOC), to mark CNY. These newsletters were sent respectively on 6 and 10

Trade co-op with key tour-operator VISITEURS (January - May 2024)
- 1-hr training webinar fully dedicated to Hong Kong on 8 February. with VISITEURS, key B2B tour-operator, to boost Hong Kong sales and its China + Hong Kong tour series:
Total trade trained: 68 - Lunch training event on 16 May in Lille (North of France): 8 key travel trade attended the lunch event. Comments were very positive, and participants were very surprised by Hong Kong’s GO offer and the variety of experiences. All were convinced by the relevance of suggesting Hong Kong as a stopover or combined destination to their clients travelling to Asia or Oceania.
- Distribution on 23 March of a dedicated Hong Kong newsletter sent to the tour-operator’s B2B database (4k B2B recipients). The newsletter promoted tailor-made Hong Kong packages and the China + Hong Kong tour series.
- Joint participation of HKTB and PARTIR (groups specialist brand of VISITEURS) to the ELUCEO trade show on 10 & 11 April dedicated to group decisions makers (work councils, associations etc). Special GBA product Hong Kong + Macau created and promoted for the occasion. Results: meetings with group travel organisers of >100 companies from Lyon dynamic region.
Integrated campaign with Expedia (January - April 2024)
Long-haul campaign with EXPEDIA including Micro website and social media below.

CNY Travel trade dinner with CX France (February 2024)
The trade event took place on 13 February and was attended by 32 key trade guests and partners including travel agencies networks’ CEOs and Tour-operators’ product managers. The seated dinner took place at Steam Bar, a high-quality dim sum bar in Paris.

Conversion-driven trade co-op with MARIETTON (March - April 2024)
- Multi-channels trade co-op with Marietton, French network of 115 travel agencies, promoting China + Hong Kong tour series products and leveraging on Mainland’s China visa-free policy.
- DOOH campaign in Lyon’s largest mall from 25 - 31 March 2024.
- Promotion through travel agencies’ window display (115), social media outlets and email signatures; along with emailing, mobile push, and campaign information on Marietton’s internal communication tools including back-office platforms and social media.
- 1-hr training webinar on Hong Kong with Marietton network of travel agencies: 29 travel trade trained live.

Conversion-driven trade co-op with Miles Attack (April - Fall 2024)
Long-term campaign with this travel agent’s incentive program, including a sales incentive rewarding Hong Kong bookings based on the number of nights booked, a B2B mini website dedicated to Hong Kong including key selling tools, and a training quiz on Hong Kong; all to boost Hong Kong bookings, extend length of stay, and drive arrivals.
