Hong Kong Restaurants Halal Certification Funding Scheme

The Hong Kong Restaurants Halal Certification Funding Scheme, supported by the HKSAR Government, assists restaurants by subsidising Halal Certification Fees. This financial support encourages restaurants to pursue certification, ensuring compliance with Halal standards and facilitating the adoption of practices to offer trustworthy Halal dining options. By increasing the availability of Halal-certified restaurants, the Scheme enhances Hong Kong’s appeal to Muslim travellers, meeting their dietary requirements and fostering a welcoming environment. This enhances Hong Kong’s service standards as an international tourism destination, promoting the growth of Muslim-friendly tourism.
