Record attendance and excellent feedback for 2015 UFI Open Seminar in Asia

This year’s UFI Open Seminar in Asia, jointly hosted by MEHK and the HKECIA, broke attendance records with over 270 delegates from 21 countries converging on Hong Kong. Organized by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, the 2015 event was the 10th edition since its inauguration in the city in 2006.

The UFI Open Seminar in Asia is one of the most important industry events where the world’s leading tradeshow organizers, fairground owners and operators and ancillary service providers can exchange new ideas and best practices and to network. An impressive line-up of distinguished speakers included Dr. William Fung of Li and Fung, along with Andrew Strachan from Art Basel Hong Kong.

“UFI sincerely thanks the HKECIA and HKTB for hosting the seminar. We received very positive feedback from many delegates about each and every aspect of the seminar. The fact that more than 270 peoples left the seminar with a strong, positive impression about Hong Kong is a true testament to the city’s capabilities to host world-class events of all types. The Hong Kong seminar was UFI’s most successful and memorable event” said Mark Cochrane, UFI’s Regional Manager in Asia.
