D 2016 FIA Formula E Hong Kong ePrix

1. "We're All Smurfs!" Art Exhibition @ Harbour City

From 13 July to 21 August 2016, the Ocean Terminal Forecourt of Harbour City will become an enormous "We're All Smurfs!" village. Thirty-five 1-metre-tall Smurfs live happily there. Enter the tallest building in the village, a 6-metre-tall mushroom house. In addition, there will be an exhibition featuring 36 precious original works of Peyo. What's more, a 4-metre-high giant Smurf will be greeting us up in the air, together with a display of eight classic comic scenes of The Smurfs in Gateway Arcade by renowned local miniature artists Tony Lai and Maggie Chan. Kids can also attend The Smurfs summer school to learn different skills and to get various Smurf certified badges. Additionally, Mr. Nicolas Tytgat, the grandson of Peyo, will visit Hong Kong from Belgium on 12-15 July to share Peyo's creative concepts. Besides that, Smurf fans can collect Hong Kong Special Edition Smurf figures and premiums from all over the world. The "Yes I Smurf!" UNICEF x Smurf Figure Global Charity Sale is also being held between 13 July and 21 August 2016, during which the public can pre-order figures online at www.weareallsmurfs.com.

For a yummy, authentic dish that screams 'Hong Kong', how about roast goose? This famous dish is a definite must-try.

Yat Lok Restaurant (Central)
Yat Lok is a friendly Hong-Kong style restaurant known for their signature roast goose dish, which was awarded 1-Michelin Star for two consecutive years! But be prepared to brave the crowds of people flocking the restaurant during meal times. Besides its signature roast goose, Yat Lok also offers a great variety of roasted meat, noodles, congee and rice dishes, all of which are made to order. While you're there, be sure to try out their signature homemade dumplings as well.

Kam's Roast Goose (Wan Chai)
If you're looking to savour a tried-and-true traditional taste of authentic roast goose, try Kam's Roast Goose. Founded by the third successor of the world famous Yung Kee Goose, Kam's Roast Goose was awarded 1-Michelin Star in 2015. The restaurant uses a traditional recipe for its roast goose dish that has been passed down through generations. As a bonus, this delicious dish is reasonably priced. The restaurant has a 30-seat capacity, which means that you might have to endure a bit of a wait, but once you've had a bite of the succulent, mouth-watering roast goose, you'll know that it's worth the wait.

2. Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine 1 Year Anniversary

The world's first Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine restaurant is celebrating its first anniversary this year. To thank everybody who has supported them, they have launched new summer dim sum and dishes. Among the new dishes on offer are the Hello Kitty Abalone Dumplings (HK$68), Hello Kitty Explosive Fried Rice (HK$128), Hello Kitty Fried Rice with Braised Abalone & Abalone Sauce (HK$98/person), Hello Kitty Tofu Fa Basket (HK$48), Hello Kitty Cheese Tart with Ice Cream (HK$68) and Hello Kitty Fish Maw White Gourd Soup (HK$350, serves six). The soup takes a long time to prepare and, as such, is only offered in limited quantities each day. Customers are therefore advised to call ahead to pre-order this dish.

Also making their debut are the dishes in the Hello Kitty Ribbon Platter range, which include Steamed Egg Yolk with Shrimps & Steamed Egg White with Whelk Meat (HK$78), Marinated Jellyfish with Beef Tendon (HK$108), Deep Fried Tofu & Chicken Cartilage with Salt & Pepper (HK$78), Stir Fried Egg White & Swallow's Nest with Fresh Goji Fruits with Steamed Spinach Egg White Base (HK$128), Hello Kitty Green Lip Mussel (New Zealand) Soup (HK$78/person), Pan Fried King Prawns with Glutinous Rice Cake (HK$128) and Stir Fried Dried Fish Maw with Broccoli (HK$180).

Additional service charges: tea (HK$12/person), VIP room reservations (min. HK$5,500 for 3 hours)

In conjunction with its anniversary celebration, the restaurant held a special promotion from 5 June – 15 July 2016, during which customers were required to WhatsApp their receipts to the event hotline to receive points. The top 10 who have accumulated the most points will have the opportunity to enjoy teatime at the restaurant with Hello Kitty and a friend at the end of July.
