Dear QTS Merchant,

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has launched a number of programmes to help you build your brand, improve your service and attract new customers. The following are a few highlights of the benefit we’ve brought to QTS merchants in the past few months.
QTS Roadshow Hosted at Harbour City
Attracts a Wide Audience
The HKTB and the Quality Tourism Services Association (QTSA) offered merchants the opportunity to promote their brands at the Harbour City Roadshow in Tsim Sha Tsui between 16 – 24 February. Over 25 participating merchants at the nine-day promotional roadshow successfully reached out to the wide audience with displays of high-quality products and informative on-stage performances, demonstrating the value of QTS-accreditation in expanding a business's influence.

Spreading QTS to New Shoppers and
New Territories
New tourist districts in the New Territories see a great number of Mainland shoppers. To reach out to these shoppers and encourage them to patronise merchants in the scheme, HKTB launched a series of roadshows last fall at Landmark North, Sheung Shui and Tai Po Mega Mall. QTS-accredited shops and restaurants also offered coupons for great deals that attracted the attention of shoppers. These coupons were handed out to roadshow attendees, as well as visitors of Lok Ma Chau and the Visitor Centre at Lo Wu.
New PartnerNet for QTS Merchants Expands Business Opportunities
We are pleased to present the new PartnerNet. This unique one-stop B2B interactive platform facilitates trade partners to stay up to date on HKTB activities and tourism industry developments. Launched last November, PartnerNet features a contemporary design with improved user-friendliness, and innovative features such as: your individual profile at My PartnerNet; convenient online ordering of QTS merchandising items; and e-Marketplace, a collaborative platform that helps QTS merchant partners better target visitor segments for business building. "Small Business Goes Social" Seminar Series Boosts Digital Knowledge
Social media has become increasingly important to the success of businesses. To help local merchants best utilise this resource and broaden customer outreach, HKTB supported the "Small Business Goes Social" seminar series. Held between June and November of last year, the series was funded by American Express' "Small Business Fund". Attendants of the three training seminars covered both representatives from QTS-accredited merchants and local SMEs, who gained valuable insights from industry professionals and guest speakers in areas such as implementing an effective digital media platform, enhancing brand awareness through online marketing as well as successful case studies.
To find out more about how these and other exciting promotional activities that QTS is developing can help stimulate your business, give us a call at 2806 2823 or e-mail us at: info@discoverhongkong.com.

We wish you every success and even better performance in the months ahead.

Yours sincerely
Hong Kong Tourism Board
