Lai Chi Wo is a charming historic Hakka village flanked by the lush ‘fung shui’ wood and mangrove forest near the New Territories’ northeast coast. It won UNESCO’s prestigious 2020 Special Recognition for Sustainable Development award for promoting cultural heritage conservation.
Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2022 Unveiled
The latest edition of the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau brings together 249 restaurants across the two territories offering a diverse array of cuisines, with blooming young talents shaping the culinary landscape of Hong Kong and Macau and pushing creative limits. In total, the 2022 edition of the Guide highlights 71 starred restaurants in Hong Kong and 15 starred restaurants in Macau. Among them, 11 are new additions or promotion to the starred list.

Chinese New Year Cultural Showcase
The Hong Kong Tourism Board hosted a sensational “Chinese New Year Cultural Showcase” featuring traditions and popular activities celebrated in Hong Kong. Highlights included greetings by Dane Cheng, Executive Director, HKTB, lion dance performance with a contemporary twist, a cooking demo on festive snacks and drinks with Chef Kathy Fang, two-time champion of Food Network’s Chopped, and a forecast of the Year of the Tiger by Hong Kong geomancer Master John Choi.
