HKTB Welcomes the Government’s Announcement on New Arrangements for
Inbound Travellers
From September 26, overseas travellers coming through Hong Kong International Airport will no longer need mandatory hotel quarantine. In addition, travellers are not required to take a PCR test before boarding flights to Hong Kong, and upon arrival, they can head directly to their home or chosen hotel to await the test results. The new arrangement will allow greater convenience and flexibility for travellers.
Sixth Generation Peak Tram Now Open
The Peak Tram, Asia’s oldest funicular railway and a must-visit attraction in Hong Kong, is again taking visitors on a spell-binding ride to the Peak with a redesigned tramcar, terminus ushers and upgraded facilities. The new Peak Tram will reward passengers with a mesmerising panorama of Victoria Harbour and a fresh, enhanced experience, making it one of the latest developments in the many exciting tourist attractions and experiences in Hong Kong. Sha Tau Kok: The History of the Frontier Closed Area
Located in Hong Kong’s North District bordering Shenzhen, Sha Tau Kok was designated as part of the Frontier Closed Area in 1951, accessible only to individuals with closed area permits. As part of its gradual opening of the area, the Sha Tau Kok Pier is now open to the public and there are guided tours of the area.  Learn more >

Award-winning Photographer Kelvin Yuen’s Hong Kong Photo Exhibition
At age 19 in 2015, Kelvin Yuen won the National Geographic International Photo Contest. To the Hong Kong-born artist, Hong Kong is a photographer's paradise and a city like no other. The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office has commissioned a touring exhibition of Kelvin's work across Canada from September to October. Come take in the awe-inspiring images if you are in town.
