UNESCO Global Geopark 

Located in the eastern part of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark is a vast 150-square-kilometre area, home to some of most stunning geological features in the region. Many sites are spread out over two distinct regions: the sedimentary rock region in the northeast New Territories, and the volcanic rock region in Sai Kung, which is home to unique volcanic rock columns, formed by eruptions some 140 million years ago. Here, travellers will find everything from spectacular rolling hills and country parks, uninhabited islands, white-sand beaches and a breathtaking coastline, comprising towering cliffs, sea caves and arches.

2023 World’s Best Hotels 

Hong Kong’s hotels have been named the world’s best. Mondrian Hong Kong 

The first Mondrian Hotel in Greater China, Mondrian Hong Kong will be opening in December 2023. It is located in the bustling district of Tsim Sha Tsui (1 minute walk to MTR station) with 324 spacious rooms, including 12 suites. The hotel offers stunning views of Victoria Harbour, state-of-the-art wellness facilities, an exciting bar and restaurant, and a world-class dining experience at Carna by Dario Cecchini, a contemporary steakhouse from the legendary butcher from Tuscany. LOCAL UPDATE

Connect HK FAM, 5 - 12 Nov 2023

Seeing is believing! HKTB hosted a Connect HK FAM for 19 tour operators from North America. Participants had a chance to experience neighbourhoods such as West Kowloon Cultural District, Sham Shui Po and Old Town Central as well as hike the Great Outdoors. The trip included culinary adventures from farm-to-table Cafe Bau and exquisite meals at the Chinese Library and Chinesology, to panoramic views from rooftop bars Cardinal Point and Eyebar, to a foodie tour around Sham Shui Po, to getting hands-on in making pineapple buns. Participants also connected with over 100 Hong Kong sellers for business development.

Autumn is the best time of year to visit Hong Kong for those who prefer cool evenings, sunny days and breezy afternoons.
