Hong Kong Shines at Art Basel Paris 2024 with Authentic Cha Chaan Teng Experience

At Art Basel Paris 2024 recently, Hong Kong was prominently represented through a unique cultural installation by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, a "Cha Chaan Teng," a traditional Hong Kong-style café, at the Grand Palais. This café allowed visitors to experience Hong Kong’s culinary culture, offering dishes like roasted pork, pineapple buns, egg tarts, and the famous Yuen Yang milk tea.

This initiative was part of HKTB's broader three-year partnership with Art Basel, aimed at showcasing Hong Kong’s "East-meets-West" cultural essence to international art lovers.
