The holiday season in Hong Kong offers an exciting mix of experiences that elevate the city’s festive spirit. From 22 November 2024 to 1 January 2025, step into the enchanting Christmas Town at the West Kowloon Cultural District, featuring a show-stopping Christmas tree and whimsical decorations set against the iconic Victoria Harbour, and a chance to meet Santa in his Christmas lodge. As evening falls, the Winter Harbourfront Pyrotechnics (24 – 26 December 2024) will illuminate the city with spectacular marine displays, followed by the New Year Countdown Celebration and a magnificent fireworks display on the New Year’s Eve.

Hong Kong Tourism Board hosted Producers' Lunch event in London

On 27 November, HKTB hosted its first producers’ lunch event in 6 years, at the Peninsula’s private dining room, the Silk Room at Canton Blue.

Ms Anette Wendel-Menke, Director Europe, delivered a warm welcome to a room full of TV producers who all had interest and enthusiasm about filming in Hong Kong. The event showcased why Hong Kong is such a fantastic place for film shoots – from diverse location settings to skilled workforce, to the robust infrastructure to name but a few. Guests were treated to a specially curated menu of hand-made dim sum and expertly crafted Cantonese classics. The event successfully enticed the producers into choosing Hong Kong as their next filming destination.
