Description: In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, the Hong Kong Palace Museum proudly presents a new special exhibition, ‘The Origins of Chinese Civilisation’. This exhibition features artefacts from the ‘Project to Trace the Origins of Chinese Civilisation’ along with significant archaeological discoveries marking the centennial of modern Chinese archaeology. Showcasing nearly 110 rare and recent finds, including 16 grade-one national treasures, most of these artefacts are being displayed in Hong Kong for the very first time. This is one of the most comprehensive exhibitions dedicated to exploring the origins and achievements of Chinese civilisation in recent years.
